Yes, ICON offers the opportunity (via a ‘firm administration area’) to register new users and change information about your firm and its registered users. If your firm has a number of people who want to use ICON, you may wish to take advantage of this facility.
The first person from your firm to register will automatically have access to the ‘firm administration area’ as soon as they log in. From here they can:
- register new users on their behalf
- nominate additional firm administrators
- add new office locations
- manage the registration process
If the firm administrator function is more appropriate to someone else at your office, you can reallocate this role as soon as that person has registered.
To use ICON, you must be:
- a Solicitor
- a Legal Executive
- an individual working under the supervision of a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
working for a firm authorised by the Financial Services Authority (FSA), or registered (or in the process of being registered) on the FSA’s Exempt Professional Firms register, to undertake insurance mediation
- a genealogist working for a firm of genealogists who are authorised by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to undertake insurance mediation

Even if ICON is unable to provide a quote based on the information provided, we can still help you. The details are automatically referred to one of our specialist underwriters who will contact you within one hour (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm) to discuss further.
